It is very difficult to keep frogs out of their favourite places, and if they are getting in to the spa even with the cover on it may be impossible. My advice is put the chemicals in the spa in the morning when the frogs are hiding out, that way when they come out to play in the evening, the chemicals will be less toxic. A pond will definitely help, but if they are anything like my frogs they will keep going back to your spa for a dip.

Hi, I have the same problem but with a spa, 4 frogs have made a home in our spa which is full of water but without the chemicals, they hide under the cover.
I am trying to make a frog pond so we can use the spa & not kill the frogs.
Problem is, are they going to use the pond once we put the chemicals in the spa!
