Do they only call during mating season and at what age will they be ready to mate ? The male is more adventurous and loves the photographic attention, posted on facebook. The female seems to spend much of her time hidden in and around the somewhat crude pond. It took more than twelve months in a cool shaded pond for both to develop into frogs. Tib.
