wow, its great to see someone blogging about our precious motorbike frogs! I grew up falling asleep to the sounds of these frogs. When girlfriends would sleep over, they would look terrified and say 'what is that sound? are there people riding motorcycles nearby!?' For such small creatures, they sure can make tremendous sounds at night!

This is such a great idea! Frogs are so important to the eco system - I look forward to hearing more about what you are doing!

We have been lucky enough to be living in the south west near dams and watertanks over the past few years. We have become intimate with motorbikes and I just love 'em. Just this weekend I grabbed my hat off the hook outside the backdoor, threw it on top of the picnic basket and loaded the lot into the back of the car. I was about to close the door, when my daughter screamed. Yep, frog in the hat! What can I say - I feel honoured that they choose to live with us!

Hi Lisa,
I am really looking forward to hearing about your frog ponds. How do you go about setting one up? How do you choose a good position? I would love a frog pond but I am not sure how much space I'd need. Keep up the good work.
